Our weekend kicked off with a soccer game for Chase on Friday night. He scored a goal but his team lost again which I think is going to be a bit of a theme for the team this season. Coming off a season where Chase’s team was undefeated, he’s thankfully handling it well and part of me thinks he might get even more out of this season from a personal and emotional growth perspective. Can you tell we’re looking for the silver linings this season? Ha!
Ryan arrived home from India an hour after all the boys were in bed on Friday but you better believe they were all psyched to see Dad when they woke up on Saturday morning. Ryan was majorly jet-lagged on Saturday but rallied for play time with the boys. We also made it out to the high school musical at Chase’s school and then called it an early night.
Sunday morning I woke up with an idea! I’m fairly sure I’ve seen Janae do this on her blog in the past but I thought it might be fun to recap our Sunday through photos with one picture recapping every hour of the day. Keep on scrolling for a peek into our Sunday from the moment I woke up to the moment I turned out the lights and called it a night!
